The L&C took part in the Rainbow Laces campaign, with payers and officials wearing rainbow laces to show their support for LGBTQ+ inclusion in football.


In the Premier Division, Salford Vics moved four points clear at the summit with a comfortable 4-1 win at Sale Amateurs. They extended their lead over Abacus Media who lost a close contest at AFC Monton by 3-2 and stay in second place. Bedians are just a point behind, with three games in hand, after a relatively comfortable 3-1 win over Pro United.
Hazel Grove lost ground after dropping points in a 2-2 deadlock with Trafford United.
The other game featured the bottom two and Bury Am moved out of the basement position with a nervy 1-0 win over Village Manchester.

Division One leaders AFC Stockport weren’t in action but are three points clear of Rushford Park who shared four goals with fellow promotion candidates Trafford Reserves.
Moston Brook Reserves were the hotshots of the day with a convincing 8-3 win at Hattersley.
The win was secured thanks to an Anthony Bowen hat-trick, along with braces for Sam Azuoma and Terry Qualters, and Kane Donelan rounded off the scoring. The other game saw Stoconians edge a 3-2 win at FC Babylon.

Goals are never a problem in Division Two and a ruthless Rochdalians did their goal difference a favour with a big win at Cavaliers to top the division on goal difference.

The clash between the previous top two in the division ended with Santos winning 5-1 at Stretford Paddock.
The hosts scored an early goal but Ben Marshall equalised before Reece Holden fired Santos into the lead.
The advantage was extended by Marshall’s penalty and his hat-trick came just on the interval when he scored directly from a corner.
Stretford came out fighting in the second half, however they could not break a resolute Santos defence.
The match was sealed when Marshall added his fourth of the afternoon late on in the game.
The close quality of the division was on show in the other games with Mellor Reserves winning 3-2 at Abacus Media Reserves, a scoreline matched by Konger FC at Old Strets Gregs.
The spoils were shared at Didsbury as their game with Tintwistle Athletic Reserves ended in a 2-2 draw.

The back of the net was bulging in most of the games in a busy Division Three led by unbeaten leaders Manchester Rovers who won their local derby at South Manchester 5-2.
The victory keeps them five points clear of Sublime Athletic who had to work hard for a 3-1 win at Timperley Villa.
The win took Sublime a point clear of Old StretsGregs Reserves who went down 6-2 at Saddleworth 3D.
Spurley Hey enjoyed a 6-3 win over Heywood St James Reserves with both teams complimented by vastly experienced referee John Melia for their attitude and skills.
The other game in the division was another excellent contest which ended at 3-3 between Village Manchester Reserves and Altrincham Hale Thirds.


Division A leaders Moston Brook Thirds moved six points clear at the top with a clinical 3-1 win at Milnrow Firgrovia thanks to a hat-trick from Damien Cottier, including a penalty, but second-placed Waterhead won 6-3 in their local derby at Fittonhill All-Stars and have four games in hand over Moston Brook.
There was an end-to-end thriller at Manchester Saints who led Stafford Argyle 4-3 at the break only for Argyle to hit back and win a breathless contest 6-5.
A more sedate affair at Prestwich Marauders who kept an immaculate clean sheet in a 2-0 win over AFC Oldham.

The goals continued to flow in Division B led by leaders Signol Athletic who maintained their unbeaten record with a comfortable 6-0 cruise at Moston Brook Fourths.
Brook held Signol for 55 minutes until they took the lead with a stunning strike.
Then injuries to both Brook’s senior centre backs and a couple of midfielders took Brook down to nine men and a youthful Signol took full advantage scoring another five goals.
The win keeps them five points clear with a game in hand over Rushford Park Reserves who eased to a 5-2 win in an excellent game at Village Manchester Thirds.
On target for Rushford were Daniel Reger, Abdul Nassrat (two) and Aidan Molloy.
Santos U23 were beaten by Bury Amateur B 7-2.
Their consolation goals were scored by Dominic Carter and an own goal.
Didsbury thirds enjoyed a solid 5-2 win hosting Saddleworth 3D Reserves and Stoconians Reserves were also clinical at AFC Oldham reserves scoring two unanswered second-half goals after leading 2-1 at the break.
