For the second time in a matter of weeks, the docket of fixtures has been disrupted, this time through Storm Darragh which led to waterlogged pitches.
But a reasonable number of games managed to beat the weather to allow another flood of goals and some exciting games to take place on 3G pitches.


Tintwistle Athletic Reserves have enjoyed their new life in the league this season and a clinical 3-0 win over Langwith Whitestars saw them reach the Derbyshire FA Junior Cup North Final.
The other County Cup game saw Manchester Rovers go out of the Altrincham Cup beaten 4-1 by Altrincham Hale.
The other game in the competition between Sale Ams and Altrincham Reserves was postponed.

With their main contenders out of action as a result of the weather, Premier Division leaders Salford Vics took advantage and stretched their lead at the top to seven points with a comprehensive 10-2 win over Hazel Grove. Vics produced the perfect first half performance, limiting their opponents to one shot on target and seized control with three goals in a five-minute spell through a Joe Axon hat-trick. Goals from Jono Hayes, Myles Jevons and Lewis Russell gave them a six-goal cushion at half-time.
Vics made five substitutions at the start of the second half and Grove took advantage of the disruption to pull two goals back. But Vics regained full control through substitute Sam Birkett’s hat-trick and man of the match Paul Jamieson rounded off the performance with a sublime chip.
The other game in the division involved teams at the other end of the table with Pro United producing a clinical display of finishing to beat Village Manchester 2-0.

There was only a solitary game in Division One and Moston Brook Reserves moved closer to the top three with a comfortable 6-0 win over Stoconians, notching three times in each half.

In Division Two, leaders Santos extended their lead over Rochdalians to four points, hitting double figures for the first time in their history to beat Hillgate 10-0. They were three goals to the good at the break through Reece Holden, Cullen Charnock and Mike Patterson.
They were relentless after the break, with Patterson and Holden scored again before braces from Sam Ryder and Tom Barnes, and a Liam Maguire strike.
The division’s other game was an end-to-end encounter between Mellor Reserves and Stretford Paddock Reserves that ended honours even with a 2-2 draw.

With unbeaten Division Three leaders Manchester Rovers in cup action, Sublime Athletic reduced Rovers’ lead to two points as they were too hot for Stockport Warriors to handle in a big 10-1 win.
The mid-table local derby at Altrincham Hale Thirds saw Timperley Villa win a close contest 2-1.

Plenty of thrills and spills in Division A as the top two played each other in a local derby classic between Moston Brook Thirds and Waterhead.
It ended locked at 3-3 to keep Brook six points clear of their rivals who have four vital games in hand.
There was another breathless derby encounter at Prestwich Marauders who hosted Bury Ams A. Marauders led 3-1 at the break but Bury bounced back to secure a fantastic 6-5 victory.
It was also close between Trafford United Reserves and Village Manchester Reserves who shared the spoils in a 2-2 deadlock.
The goal continued to flow at Salford United as visitors Fittonhill All-Stars won 4-2.

Just one game in Division B as Santos U23s played hosts to AFC Oldham Reserves and again the back of the net bulged frequently.
Santos led 5-0 at the break and added another four in the second half.
Their goal scorers were Joe Hartley who notched four, Blessing Rashidi (two), Jackson Fulton, Ellis Holden and Dean Walker.
