Didsbury Sports Club, who field three teams in the L&C, were among the many who suffered significant damage due to the floods over New Year.
Their home, Didsbury Sports Club, which is also the home of Didsbury Toc H Rugby Club, saw unprecedented levels of water flood their grounds and cause substantial damage to their modern clubhouse.
It means the pitches will not be fit for use for several weeks, with the L&C providing alternative venues for their home games with financial support.
People can add to the effort by donating to the Didsbury Sports Club Justgiving page which will provide funds for the estimated £100,000 they need to undertake repairs.
