Chadderton Cott Secure Division One Title

The destiny of the Division One title was confirmed after the clash between the top two during a limited Easter weekend fixture list.
Leaders Chadderton Cott went into the game just a point ahead of Rushford Park and, although Cott have a game in hand, Rushford knew the opportunity was there to exert serious pressure on their opponents.
However, Cott showed why they have only dropped seven points all season and eventually ran out 3-0 winners and the celebrations could begin.
Elsewhere over the Easter weekend, Bedians suffered a setback in their quest to finish second in the Premier Division after they were defeated 5-2 at home to Hazel Grove. The visitors bagged a brace of early goals and though both sides created plenty of opportunities, the visitors pulled away with a further three before Bedians grabbed a consolation. They remain two points clear of third place, with a game in hand over Abacus Media.
Bollington United kept up their good run of form to move into the top half of the table with a 6-2 win over Pro United and midweek action saw Trafford United move out of the bottom two with a 3-1 win at AFC Monton.
In Division Two, Stretford Paddock Amateurs played their last game of the season at Cavaliers and had few problems in a 7-1 cruise to move into second spot level on points with Santos behind leaders Rochdalians.

In Division Three second-placed Saddleworth 3D followed up a big midweek 7-1 win at Broadheath Central with a comfortable 4-0 home win over South Manchester but stay 10 points behind runaway leaders Manchester Rovers who need just one win to clinch the title.
The other game in the division saw Timperley Villa win 4-0 at AFC Stockport Warriors.
In Division A Waterhead maintain a commanding 10-point lead over second place Didsbury Reserves who reduced the gap with a 7-2 win at Manchester Saints.
The other games brought wins for Newton Vikings who won 2-1 at Fittonhill All-Stars, Irlam Steel Rangers Development who triumphed 4-1 in their local derby with Salford United and Prestwich Marauders defeated Stafford Argyle 5-3 in a lively contest.
Just one game and one goal in Division B as Village Manchester thirds were the only ones to find the back of the net at Bury Ams B.
