Trafford lead the way to the last eight of the North West Inter League Cup, which features the top sixteen teams in the L and C and old rivals the LAL.
Round Two sees the winning teams go through to the quarter finals and Trafford reserves led the way for the L and C with a 6-1 thumping of Accrington Amateurs.
The game was played on an immaculate surface at Trafford’s Shawe View Stadium and Trafford got off to a flier with a neat finish on two minutes by the prolific Declan McGloin.

Accrington held on until the break and levelled early after the restart but Trafford stepped up a gear to add five more goals for a fine 6-1 victory.

Vics took the long journey to Bollington and opened the scoring after seven minutes through Sam Birkett after good work down the right hand side by Pauli Vivers.

The second half was one-way traffic with the ten men defending bravely, after 62 minutes centre back Aaron Brown went down the left beating four defenders and setting up Joe Axon for his second goal.
The one way traffic resumed but twice more Vics broke at pace.
In the 94th minute Myles Jevons took the ball off the right back 35 yards from goal and proceeded to beat both centre backs who managed to push him wide, before he put a sublime chip over the keeper into the far top corner.

The other game was an end to end thriller with Moston Brook reserves and Richmond Rovers sharing eight goals.

There were also only two games in Division Two. Didsbury FC were delighted to get back into action at their home ground which had been hit badly by the January floods.

They hosted Santos who were looking for a win which would take them back to the top of the division.
But it was not to be as Didsbury came out on top by 2-1 in a hard-fought encounter.
A great strike for Didsbury by Ryan McGhee was doubled by Shane Bates to give Didsbury a gritty 2-1 win.
The other game was basement clash at Abacus Media reserves who lost out 3-0 to Tintwistle Athletic reserves who move out of the bottom two.

Old StretsGregs reserves dropped back in the race as they lost 3-2 hosting South Manchester.

AFC Stockport Warriors moved out of the bottom two with a fine 5-2 win over Heywood St James reserves and Trafford United reserves were also in good form with a 3-0 win over Spurley Hey.

Didsbury reserves were the big hitters with a 5-0 win at Fittonhill All-Stars to close the gap on non-playing second-placed Moston Brook thirds to two points with plenty of games in hand.
The other two games in the division both ended with 2-1 score-lines in favour of Irlam Steel Rangers Development over Newton Vikings and AFC Oldham at Bury Ams A.

Division B runaway leaders Signol Athletic kept up their remorseless form with a clinical 8-1 win at AFC Oldham Reserves.
Their nearest rival AFC Stockport Titans kept in touch with a 4-2 win over Moston Brook fourths.
Bury Ams B won 3-1 at Village Manchester thirds and Stoconians reserves and Didsbury thirds shared the spoils in a 1-1 deadlock.
